Pastoral Care
The aim of the Pastoral Care team is to lovingly come alongside those in our church family and community who are struggling with difficult life issues. We are all touched at points in our lives by illness, relationship problems, tragic situations often leaving us bereft, lonely, feeling helpless or unable to cope with everyday life.
The Pastoral team aims to provide a non-judgemental listening ear with emotional, spiritual and practical support to those who are going through difficult times. The foundation of all that we do is based on prayer and we love to spend time praying with people and listening to what God has to say about each situation. We work in pairs and meet with individuals in a quiet and private room so we can listen to God and pray.
Confidentiality is vital and things discussed are not passed on beyond the supporting couple unless there is a possibility of danger to the individual or to others. When necessary we can refer on for professional help when our help is not quite enough.
