As the new Families and Children’s Pastors, we have been praying and asking God what He would like us to focus on for 2019.
Among other things, God has laid on our hearts to provide family friendly healing rooms. A space for families who are struggling with sickness, injuries, disabilities and special educational needs to come and receive prayer for healing.
We understand that toddler group has been a blessing for so many families, but feel that God is saying, it is time to make space for a new work for our local families. Almost every church in the area has a toddler group, however, there isn’t a family friendly healing rooms within the area, possible not even in this country. We are responding to the call of God to pioneer a space for God to minister to children and families who need prayer ministry for healing.
We anticipate this group starting up in February, and will spend January praying and preparing. If you have a need for healing prayer in your family, we would love you to come along. We will send out more information nearer the time. If you have a heart to pray for the sick for healing, speak to either of us about joining the team.
As an alternative to Toddler group, we are inviting toddler families to our community lunch. Each Wednesday we share a buffet lunch and then put out toys for the children to play with.
It runs from 12pm to 1:30pm and is free of charge. If you have any questions or feedback we'd be very happy to hear from you.
